The donation ceremony of the “Cedar International Trust · Love Cedar No. 2 Leshan Medical Assistance Charitable Trust Plan” was recently held at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University.

The Love Cedar No. 2 Charitable Trust introduces collaboration with social organizations and establishes a TAVR assistance fund. This fund aims to support eligible patients who undergo TAVR surgery at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University, helping to lessen the financial burden on families. The charitable trust was initiated and established through Cedar International Trust, which also acts as the trustee, and was approved by the Nanchang Civil Affairs Bureau. As the implementing agency, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University is responsible for selecting beneficiaries as well as the specific implementation of the project. Four patients have already received funding under the program.

Qi Shaobin, Chairman of Cedar International Trust, said that the joint implementation of the charity project with the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University showed practical implementation of the Trust’s “charitable trust + professional solution” model. It leverages the respective advantages of financial institutions and hospitals to support impoverished patients who need medical treatment. Cedar International Trust can capitalize on the advantages of the trust system and implement charitable projects in a safe, professional, standardized and transparent manner through this new type of charitable trust.
