Cedar Commodities and the Guangxi Pingguo Municipal Government Sign Contract on the Non-ferrous Metals Renewable Resource Supply Chain Project

The Guangxi Baise Pilot Zone for Key Development and Opening-up Promotion Conference and Project Signing Ceremony was held in Nanning on the morning of Sept. 11.


Ge Guoke, the Mayor of Baise City, said at the signing ceremony that Baise had reached a period of historical opportunities when it can accomplish great things. Baise will strive to nurture industries with an output value of over RMB 100 billion and industrial parks with an output value of over RMB 50 billion, and build a modern industrial system. It now enjoys opportunities for industrial development alongside the dividends of multiple national policies. Ge Guoke sincerely invited investors from all walks of life to make plans to invest in Baise and share opportunities for new development and a new future with Baise.


Guo Jia, the Mayor of Pingguo City, made a speech to attract investment from key industries in Pingguo City. He said that during the “13th Five-Year Plan”, Pingguo City had fostered a new development paradigm, with the aluminum industry as the mainstay, supported by the door industry, building materials & decoration, agricultural and forestry product processing, and more. In 2020, it was ranked among the “Top 100 Counties in Western China”, and ranked first in Guangxi. During the “14th Five-Year Plan”, the industries identified for key development by Pingguo City include the aluminum recycling industry, the deep processing of aluminum, new, high-end environmentally friendly materials, the deep processing of forest and agricultural products, and smart sports and health industries.


At the signing ceremony, Nong Liqiu, the Vice Mayor of Pingguo City, signed a contract for the non-ferrous metals renewable resource supply chain project with the Cedar Commodities Supply Chain Group.


In the aluminum product supply chain field, Cedar Commodities has rich industry experience as well as upstream and downstream customer resources.
